NSDA students get multiple opportunities to perform at various events and shows, including the annual academy show. Each show is unique, and students get to showcase their talent in folk dances. NSDA supports many charities in the DFW metroplex and neighboring states and allows students to use dance as a service.
Every year, the academy embraces a theme for its annual show. A collective of the best dances students have learned throughout the year is presented to the audience. In 2022, NSDA annual show was called Varshini and was themed around monsoons in India.
